Big Agnes Royal Flush 3 Man Winter Tent
The Big Agnes Royal Flush 3 is a 4 season tent so is manufactured specifically for camping all year round.
I have spent ages looking for reviews on this tent but have not managed to find more than two which is quite odd and when I read these reviews they didn’t said anything about the tent itself just that the gear loft is quite small although it is well made. In fact the gear loft is sold as a separate item and one of these campers were using it in a different tent.
Also I couldn’t find this Royal Flush 3 tent on the Big Agnes website so it may not be in production anymore but there are plenty of places you can still purchase it from.
However I did find a very helpful you tube video of the tent demonstrating how to set it up and what they liked about it. You can watch it below.

As you can see it looks very good and the camper sounds very positive about it. He recommends it as sleeping 3 people only if you are average build. The best points about the tent was having 2 door ways and great ventilation. Lots of storage pockets too.

Heres more of what we know about the Big Agnes Royal Flush 3. It is a free standing octagonal tent and has integrated vestibules that are fully weatherproof. All the seams are sealed and there are storm flaps over the vestibules. The slope of the tent walls is enough to stop any build up of snow.
The standard tent poles are lightweight and durable but it also comes with mega stakes suitable for snow and stormy bad weather. Not only that but the stake loops have been designed to be big enough to use larger anchors like skis! The guyline is reflective and there is also heavy duty guyline included for really windy conditions. I’m not sure if this heavy duty guyline is reflective or not.

Ventilation, which is really important with 4 season tents, has been allowed for with mesh panels and fly vents to circulate the air.
Unfortunately I can’t really make a comment about whether the Big Agnes Royal Flush is up for the job. However I will say that since it is manufactured by Big Agnes I have confidence that it is a quality tent and has been desgined specifically for its purpose. Certainly the majority of reviews I’ve seen of other Big Agnes tents have been very positive. I hope this helps you make a decision.
