Columbia Cougar Flats II Cabin Dome Best Point

It seems the main benefit of this tent is the space it gives. There are 2 very large divided areas that can be used as either 2 bedrooms or one large bedroom and a large living area. We are talking large here! The walls are almost vertical which really makes it feel more spacious and there is no need for bending down at all. The interior even has pockets to keep things in and cupholders! Although I’m not too sure how it works I find the idea of a gear loft a really cool feature to store away and hide valuables especially during the night.

There was no worst point from all the reviews I read. However in terms of setting up the tent some people felt that the instructions needed to be clearer but once you have done it a few times it does become easier. It can be set up by one person if necessary but it is easier with two. The carry bag for the tent is on wheels which makes it much easier to move around.

As with any tent it is worth spraying a water proofing coat to the exterior the first time you use it to preserve the waterproofing.

Overall this tent is great value for money and is certainly one that will last many years of camping.
